The Arkansas Bar Association is holding a series of public forums across the state to discuss and receive comments on a proposed Arkansas Constitutional Amendment on an appointment process for the selection of Supreme Court Justices.

The public forum for Central Arkansas will be held in partnership with the Clinton School for Public Service on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 6 p.m. A moderated panel of lawyers and judges will be available to provide insight on issues presented with both the election and selection process. The public is encouraged to attend and join the conversation.

The forums will be held in advance of the Bar Association’s House of Delegates December 16 th meeting to discuss the proposed Arkansas Constitutional Amendment which can be accessed at http://tinyurl.com/Judcial-Selection.
