Barry Landau

Barry Landau, one of the foremost collectors of presidential memorabilia, is the author of, "The President’s Table: 200 Years of Dining and Diplomacy," a sweeping visual history of the American Presidency, as seen through presidential entertaining from George Washington to George W. Bush. Accompanied by illustrations and rare artifacts, Landau creates a narrative of American history from the early days of provincial entertaining in the capital, through the golden era of state banquets, to the modern White House dinners of today. During his career, Landau has worked in every White House since Lyndon Johnson planning historic events and is a frequent network commentator on matters relating to the presidency and White House protocol.
