John Kinkade has been the executive director of the National Sculptors’ Guild (NSG) since its inception in 1992. The guild has worked closely with cities, corporations and private institutions across the country to enhance public spaces through art. NSG has installed over 300 public placements, including placements in the sculpture garden in the river market area of Little Rock, AR.
Together with his daughter, Alyson Kinkade, John Kinkade also owns and operates the Columbine Gallery in Loveland, Colorado. Columbine is the exclusive representative of the National Sculptors' Guild and home to the NSG sculpture garden. Representing some of the nations leading sculptors, painters and fine craft artisans Columbine Gallery and National Sculptors’ Guild have consulted private, corporate and public collectors in the placement of fine art for the interior and exterior with innovative artwork.
During the first two years after the inception of the National Sculptors’ Guild John Kinkade was a creative marketing consultant at the Wes Sargent Company in Loveland, CO and at KFKA radio station in Greeley, CO. Prior to his executive director position, Kinkade was a private practice attorney. Kinkade received his B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Colorado in 1968 and his J.D. from the University of Denver in 1971. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army Reserves where he served from 1968-1974.
