Kirby Dick

Kirby Dick, is an Academy and Emmy Award-nominated documentary director. His most recent film, “The Invisible War” is a groundbreaking investigation into the epidemic of rape in the U.S. military, won the Audience Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.

“Dick began making films while he was a student at California Institute of the Arts, where he experimented with cinematic style, form and structure. For his first film, he recorded his casts' actions and gestures, but the sound track he used--including dialogue--was from an entirely different source.”
