Warren Bass

Warren Bass, deputy editor of the Washington Post’s Outlook section, is an expert on international intelligence and the Middle East. He is also author of "Support Any Friend: Kennedy's Middle East and the Making of the U.S.-Israel Alliance." He has served as Director of Special Projects/Terrorism at the Council on Foreign Relations as well as a staff member on the 9/11 Commission. He has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, The New Republic, The Los Angeles Times, among many other publications, and he has recently earned a Ph.D. from Columbia University’s Department of History.
