Barnett reminisces about his experiences working as a senior advisor and doing debate preparations for President Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign in Little Rock. Barnett recalls becoming friends with famed Clinton advisory James Carville, telling two stories about the famed political consultant turned television commentator. Barnett recalls several stories from his career first as a legislative assistant in Washington and then as a lawyer in the private sector where he has represented major corporations, politicians, novelists, journalists and business leaders. Barnett also discusses his work serving as a debate coach to several presidential and vice presidential candidates including Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Walter Mondale and others.
