Emmy-nominated actor, Sam Waterston is widely recognized for his portrayal of Assistant District Attorney Jack McCoy on the long-running NBC series Law & Order. Before he focused on his television work, he appeared in dozens of movies. Perhaps his most famous role was journalist Sydney Schanberg in the 1984 film The Killing Fields.

Award-winning actor Sam Waterston (Law & Order) and Harold Holzer, America’s leading Lincoln historian, present “Lincoln Seen and Heard,” a show featuring the words and images of America’s 16th president. Waterston who has played President Lincoln on state and television reenacts Lincoln’s powerful and moving words while Holzer narrates the Lincoln saga and relates the story behind photos of America’s 16th president. The program is presented as part of the Frank & Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series, hosted by the Clinton School and the William J. Clinton Foundation.
