Scott Parazynski

An astronaut since 1992, Scott Parazynski has served as the Astronaut Office Operations Planning Branch crew representative for Space Shuttle, Space Station and Soyuz training, and also served as Deputy (Operations and Training) of the Astronaut Office ISS Branch. Most recently, he served as Chief of the Astronaut Office EVA Branch. A veteran of six space flights Mr. Parazynski has logged over 1,019 hours in space and traveled over 17 million miles. Mr. Parazynski's most recent mission is STS-120 mission, during which he performed four spacewalks to continue International Space Station assembly.

A year removed from his last mission to space where he worked on the International Space Station, astronaut Scott Parazynski gives a lecture entitled, "The Moon, Mars and Beyond." He discusses his experience in space as well as NASA’s future exploration.
