Founding partner of Gerstein Agne Strategic Communications, Gerstein previously served as head of the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation, where he led public education campaigns, congressional visits to the Middle East and convened Middle East diplomats for meetings with U.S. political and business leaders. Gerstein helped plan the famous handshake between Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at the Clinton White House in 1993 and was in attendance at a rally in Tel Aviv when Rabin was assassinated in 1995.

Jim Gerstein, who has worked for a number of years on the advancement of the Middle East peace process, gives a Clinton School lecture about current American Jewish public opinion and political dynamics.
