Ashley Davis is a native of Conifer, Colorado. She recently worked as assistant director of alumni relations for the University of Oxford’s (England) North American office. She earned her bachelor’s degree in European History from Boston University, spending a year studying at Oxford. She also received the President’s Volunteer Service award for completing more than 100 volunteer hours from August 2006 to July 2007. Her work included coordinating SAT preparation for recent Chinese immigrants, among other projects.

Sarah Clark is a native of Little Rock where she graduated from Central High. She earned under undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Her service experience includes work with an NGO to construct fuel efficient wood stoves in poor communities in Urubamba, Peru, and volunteering to help build homes for impoverished families in Rio Bravo and Juarez, Mexico. She has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels and Stew Pot, a Little Rock soup kitchen.

Nicholas Hall is from the battleground state of Ohio and went to Appalachian State University in the battleground state of North Carolina. Prior to the coming to the Clinton School, Nicholas served with Americorps for two-years and most recently worked for Habitat for Humanity in Greenville, S.C., while also volunteering with several nonprofit organizations, working in a local soup kitchen and serving as an after-school mentor.

Sanford Johnson is a native of Starkville, Mississippi and a graduate of Auburn University. He interned for Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi and later taught at the KIPP School in Helena. In Sanford's home state of Mississippi, there is a competitive United States Senate Race for the first time in many years.

Russ Swearingen is from Rogers, Arkansas and a graduate of Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas. Russ and his wife, Lara, are not unlike many young couples all across the country. Russ is planning to vote for Barack Obama while Lara is supporting John McCain. Prior to attending the Clinton School, he served as youth coordinator for a church in Alabama where he organized efforts to help in the recovery efforts on the Gulf Coast after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
